About The Project
We used an in-house designer to create a custom craft-room. We used wood for the builtins and paper stone for the countertops.
WHAT WE LIKED ABOUT THIS BUILD
This client wanted to update the cabinetry in this space, and it turned out to be a very comfortable and multifunctional room. The large shelf above the desk has lighting embedded on the bottom, providing light across the entire work surface, and the dimmable feature of the lighting makes the space comfortable to use anytime of the day. The craft cabinet serves as an additional work area when the rolling drawer bank is moved to the center of the room. This rolling cabinet becomes an island which is super functional when working on projects, and the clients are also able to roll it into other spaces such as the kitchen when needed for holiday baking or cooking needs.
The large desk space, and versatility of the craft cabinet design really make this room multifunctional as well as easily reconfigurable for many uses.
