About The Project
We partnered with local designer Domistyle for this full kitchen remodel in South Bellingham. The homeowners have a busy life-style with kids which lead to some extra organization options and more room for more cooks in the kitchen – we also created a bonus pull out stool to reach the cabinets up high.
What We Liked About The Build
The existing kitchen just didn’t allow for multiple cooks. Domistyle came up with a plan to expand and upgrade the functionality of the space and the transformation was really effective.
In addition to the custom stool that folds in and out of the cabinets, all the drawers are soft close and the cabinet doors were made to be super durable thanks to using an embossed wood grain texture into laminate (and nearly indistinguishable from wood).
The design team was able to minimize movement of the rough ins (sink, range etc.) and this really helped keep costs down, freeing up funds to add additional items that increased functionality.
